On 30 and 31
October, World Future Active carried out a coaching and support activity for
beneficiary groups on the hills of Kivumu and Rusagara in the commune of
Kigamba, created as part of the "Project to improve agricultural
production by recovering bio-waste through vermicomposting".

The project
is being implemented with the support of the French Embassy in Burundi through
the PISCAA-PASSEF programme.
The project
provides for local coaching of beneficiaries to support them in the project
process.
The aim of
the first coaching sessions was to help these groups with their formal
restructuring (setting up regulatory texts and administrative recognition with
the local authorities, etc.), how to plan their groups' activities and the
participation of members and the division of tasks between them in the process
of implementing the project and the day-to-day activities in their respective
groups!

The interactive and participative exchanges during these first coaching sessions enabled the beneficiaries, who are also the main players in the project, to strengthen their organisational and managerial skills in the proper organisation of their groups and their involvement in the project implementation process.
