World Future Active held a meeting to officially launch the activities of the "Innovative project to improve agricultural production by recovering waste through vermicomposting". This project, financed by the French Embassy through its program for the social and economic empowerment of women and young people, aims to promote the socio-economic conditions of beneficiaries through vermicomposting agricultural practices in the commune of Kigamba, located in the province of Cankuzo. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Association pour la Lutte Contre la Pauvreté (ALCP) URUMURI, and brought together partners involved in the project, project beneficiaries and local administrative officials, headed by the provincial governor and the administrator of the commune of Kigamba. 

As part of the event, a field visit was made to the beneficiaries.
